Spine focus: a yin/yang workshop

The spine is such an integral part of our body, but how often do we take the time to really focus on giving it some attention and care?
In this workshop, you’ll explore the spine through forward folds, backbends, and other poses designed to stretch and strengthen the spine. Understand how different postures work for the spine and the correct way to do them for maximum benefit – all through flows and sequences. You’ll also work on the spine through stretching out other areas of the body, and get to know how everything is interconnected.
Following some dynamic flow sequences and the breaking down of certain postures, we will end with a restorative yin practice focused on stretching and releasing all the tight areas of the back.
Beginners 6-week course with Vinyoga
Sundays 12.30 - 1.45pm, starting Sunday 3rd June 2018
Want to give yoga a try but afraid that you'll step into a class and not have a clue what's going on? This course will teach you the fundamentals of yoga and give you the confidence to move on the mat - helping you find mindfulness, strength and flexibility in a safe and supportive environment.
Designed for complete beginners and for those wanting to learn a little more about their practice. Giving you all the essentials you'll need to begin your yoga journey.
The course will not run on Sunday 24th June and Sunday 1st July. Please let us know in advance of any dates you are unable to attend the course so you can make up the sessions at another course later on :)
